Espoo Modern Art Museum's project for children living in SOS Children's Village

Espoo Modern Art Museum (EMMA) has started a year long art project for children living in SOS Children's Village in Tapiola (Espoo). The project involves app. 20 children over 12 years, and it includes workshops, artist meetings and visits in EMMA, SOS Children's Village and in Tapiolan päiväkeskus (Tapiola Day Centre for elderly people). The project offers children new experiences and ways to explore their close surroundings. This spring the project brings elderly people and children together to produce a graffiti piece to the fence of the metro site in Tapiola. By bringing the elderly and the young together to project tries to diffuse boundaries between different age groups.
