Culture for all calls for ceasefire in Gaza
The situation in Gaza is shocking and agonizing. We call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and urge the Finnish and global political leaders to do everything in their power to stop all violence.
We, at Culture for All, invite ideas and ways of building more understanding and empathy. Let’s ask ourselves and each other, how can art and culture be a platform for creating more love?
Cultural organisations and workers can sign petitions for ceasefire. Various different petitions have been collected and posted on the website tulitauko.org. The list includes, for example, a petition by museum workers and the open letter of art and cultural professionals to the Finnish government.
We want to also encourage everyone to work against islamophobia, antisemitism and racism in Finland and to intervene in hate speech.
